Mugwort-Infused Honey for Dreamwork

This infused honey is meant to support a calming nighttime ritual and a more intentional relationship with dreams. Mugwort has long been used in dream practices for encouraging vivid dreams, deeper rest, and stronger dream recall. Pairing it with a simple intention or prayer can turn it into a small nightly ritual of connection.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw honey

  • 1–2 tablespoons dried mugwort (or 2–3 tablespoons fresh, fully dried first)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your jar
Use a clean, dry glass jar with a tight lid.

  2. Add the mugwort
Place the dried mugwort into the jar.

  3. Pour in the honey
Slowly cover the herbs completely with honey, making sure they are fully submerged.

  4. Mix gently
Stir slowly with a clean utensil to release air bubbles and evenly distribute the herb.

  5. Infuse
Seal the jar and store it in a cool, dark place for 1–2 weeks. Gently turn or shake it every couple of days.

  6. Strain (optional)
Strain for a smooth honey, or leave the herbs in for a more traditional, stronger infusion.

Dreamwork Intention (Use While Making or Before Bed)

As you prepare or take the honey, you can speak a simple intention or prayer to align with your dream practice:

“As I rest tonight, I open myself to gentle dreams.
May I remember what is shown to me.
May my dreams speak clearly and softly.
And may I awaken with understanding and calm.”
