🍯 DIY Honey–Oat Polishing Scrub

Safe for sensitive, dry, or compromised skin

This scrub gently exfoliates while supporting the skin barrier—no harsh grit, no stripping, just soft, nourished skin.

How often: Use up to 2 times per week

Aftercare: Follow with your favorite facial oil or moisturizer while skin is still slightly damp.

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp colloidal oatmeal
    Clinically soothing; reduces redness and irritation. Rich in beta-glucans that calm inflammation and support the skin barrier.

  • ½ tbsp raw honey
    Natural humectant and antibacterial; draws moisture into the skin and supports the skin’s microbiome.

  • ½–1 tsp sunflower oil
    Lightweight, high in linoleic acid, and excellent for barrier repair. (Feel free to substitute with any pure oil you love—jojoba, olive, or sweet almond all work beautifully.)

How to Use

Mix all ingredients in a small bowl. Apply to damp skin using gentle, circular motions. Let sit for 1–2 minutes if desired, then rinse with warm water. Pat dry and moisturize.

Your skin should feel soft, calm, and deeply nourished—not tight or stripped.
